Mahatma Gandhi Central University is a public central university located in Motihari, Bihar. Established under the Central Universities Act, 2014 as Mahatma Gandhi Central University of Bihar (MGCUB) is an institution of higher learning in the state of Bihar. The University has been conducting its academic and administrative activities from temporary premises in Motihari(MGCUB Campus, Opposite Circuit House) and looking forward to shifting to the permanent campus on a 300 acre plot of land at Motihari.
